The Guilloche Ricochet Solar Eclipse watch from Czapek’s Quai des Bergues collection pays tribute to the location in which the watchmaker was founded in Geneva. Its 5N rose gold case is adorned with the Queen Bee hallmark and measures a 42.5mm diameter. Integrated with 30-meter water resistance, the watch is topped with a curved sapphire crystal glass front with anti glare treatment incorporated into its surface. The same glass material is used for the back of the case, where Czapek’s in house developed Calibre SXH1 is put on show. The engine provides a staggering 7 day power reserve thanks to two barrel springs, which can be monitored by the 5 o’clock sub-dial against a handmade bombe Guilloche Main display. The dial’s Ricochet guilloche effect is a unique and exclusive finish inspired by an 1850s technique.
This men’s Czapek Quai des Bergues Guilloche Ricochet Solar Eclipse watch also features rose gold Arabic numerals and stick markers around the hour track, a set of rose gold Fleur de lys hands, a days of the week scale and a small seconds sub-dial at 7 o’clock. The Czapek Quais de Bergues watch is completed on a matte black alligator leather strap with a 5N rose gold buckle and is limited to just 18 pieces worldwide.
