The result was the pared-back Superocean Slow Motion. It featured clean lines, bold luminescent indices, squared-off hands, and a high-contrast dial ring, all designed for optimal legibility.

The Breitling Superocean Automatic 46 Super Diver has a practical aspect, but what truly captures people's attention is its design. Inspired by the Slow Motion, it incorporates contemporary features such as a durable ceramic-inlayed bezel and camouflage dials. The broad hands and indexes, coated with luminescent Super-LumiNova®, ensure easy reading even in underwater environments. Not only is this watch water resistant up to 1,000 m (3,300 ft), but it is also resistant to shocks, sand, and saltwater. Additionally, the soft-iron inner case provides protection against magnetic fields, and the bi-directional rotating bezel can be secured with a left-sided lock. 

The Superocean offers two strap choices—rubber or titanium bracelet—both featuring a folding clasp for micro-adjustments up to 15 mm, ensuring comfortable wear over rash guards and wetsuits.
